today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Robert was born May 1, 1910, in Marion, the son of Little Berry and Eva (Franklin) Allison. He attended schools in Kentucky, and later moved with his family to Golden Valley.

After the death of his father, the family moved back to Kentucky. As a young man, Bob worked at various jobs. He was a lineman for a telephone company in the states of Washington, Montana and Idaho. In 1934 he came to Bismarck helped construct the Capitol building. He stayed on after its completion doing various jobs, eventually becoming chief engineer.

He retired from this position after 25 years. In 1945 he went to work as an inspector for Fidelity and Consulting Co. of New York. Because he did not like the extensive traveling required and time away from his family, he resigned from this position. For a short time he sold real estate.

When Provident Life Insurance Co. moved into their new building on Fifth Street, he became their chief engineer. He retired in 1977. Bob married Lillian Heupel, Nov. 30, 1935, in Bismarck.

Bob enjoyed his work, and went the extra mile to help his fellow workers. He loved all sports and did a lot of fishing, hunting, and camping, as well as gardening. He was a life member of El Zagal Temple and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 132, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry and Shrine. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; two sons and one daughte law, Robert G.

Jr. and Ann, Vandnais Heights, and Jerry, Bismarck; two daughters and sons- inlaw, Arllys and Lorado Adelmann, Decorah, Iowa, and Linda and Steve Liles, Chelan, three step-sisters; one aunt, Mildred Norton, Bismarck; and six grandchildren, Andrew Adelmann, Minneapolis, Tyson Allison, Racine, Heather Allison, Rapid City, S.D., Erin Allison, Bismarck, and Erik and Jessie Liles, both of Chelan; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 5. p.m. today at Perry Funeral Home, Mandan. She was born Sept. 28, 1897, at Judson, to Albert and Albina (Praus) Krutzner.

She attended country schools there and in New Salem. She studied tailoring with a French tailor in Valley City. She also attended Valley City Normal College. She did seamstress and tailoring work until her marriage to Charles Toman on June 20, 1920. They started the Royal Tailors and Cleaners in Mandan in 1940.

She retired in 1975. Mr. Toman died in 1945. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Albert and Loretta, Mandan, and Howard Betty, Bismarck; one brother and sister-in-law, Otto and Audra Krutzner, Garland, Texas; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild. Arlie Schauer Arlie Schauer, 56, Sterling, died March 19, 1996 at his home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Jo Olson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation will be from 5 p.m.

Arlie was born March 15, 1940, in Bismarck, the son of Andrew and Ida (Giese) Schauer. He grew up and attended grade school in Sterling. After graduating from Bismarck High School in 1958 he began farming near Sterling. He married Corene Arndt in 1958. He later attended Bismarck State College for power plant technology, graduating in 1987.

He worked for the Electrical Workers Union until 1994. Arlie enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by three sons, Lex, Sterling, Rick, Grafton, and Mark, Beulah; his mother, Ida Schauer, Sterling; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Gloria, Hazen; two nephews, Jason Schauer and Jamie Schauer; one niece, Janae Schauer. He was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Vern. Marilyn Boyd NEW TOWN Marilyn Ruth Boyd, 45, New Town, died March 18, 1996, in New Town of natural causes.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at New Town Civic Center, with burial in New Town Cemetery. Lucille was born May 16, 1930, in Bismarck, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (0'Callaghan) Glum. She was raised and educated Bismarck, graduating from St. Mary's High School. She graduated from St. Alexius School of Medical Technology in 1951.

They lived and farmed in the McClusky area. They moved to McClusky in 1988. She entered the Bismarck Baptist Home in 1991. She was a member of the McClusky Baptist Church. She enjoyed embroidery and growing her lovely flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred; one daughter and son-inlaw, Marless and Ervin Gehring, Mandan; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jake, Sacramento, Robert, McClusky, and Reinhold and Henof Bismarck; and sisters, Sophie Wilkins, San Leandro, and Regina Helm, Bismarck. She was preceded in death by one brother, Frank; and one sister, Emma Erdmann; and her parents. Andrew Hagle cancer March 19, 1996, at his home. She was born June 20, 1895, in Annavov, Russia, the third oldest child of Frederick and Sharlotta (Fuhrmann) Schiermeister. In 1 1901 she came to the United States and lived southwest of Hazelton. Katherine married Peter Eisenbarth on July 14, 1914 in Linton. They farmed west of Hazelton. Peter died Aug.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Reuben and Delores, Hermiston, two daughters, Alma Eisenbarth, Bismarck, and Esther Schmitcke, Hazelton; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Minnie Schmidt, Powell, two sistersin-law, Lois Schiermeister, Seattle, and Hilda Schiermeister, Hazelton. In addition to her husband, Peter, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, John and Walter; seven brothers; six sisters; and one great-grandson, Ralph Meier. Marvin was born Jan. 15, 1912, to Carl and Mathilda (Johanson) Erickson in Plaza. He received his education there and farmed in the area until 1952. He married Gertrude Myhre on Dec. 27, 1952, in Aberdeen, Wash.

They made their home in Tioga, where Marvin worked in the oil fields. In 1960 Marvin and Gertrude moved to Aberdeen, and Marvin worked as a cabinet maker. From there they moved to Williston in 1969, and Marvin worked for Missouri Valley Creamery and the city of Williston. In November 1994 they moved to Bismarck. Marvin loved gardening and the outdoors, and was very active in the church.

He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; one daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Daryl Hinderer, Durango, two sons one daughter-in-law, Rodney and Mary Kay, Bismarck, and Larry, Devils Lake; three grandchildren, Julie, Darren and Bryce Hinderer, all of Durango; one sister, Myrtle Lynne, Plaza; and one brother, Arne Erickson, Minot. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Roy, Ire, Allan, Arvey and Alvin; and two sisters, Esther Mitbo and Lilly Willy. Marvin A.
