Ed O'Neill got his week off to a fun start, hitting the red carpet in a rare appearance with his daughter Claire for his new FX on Hulu series Clipped.

The 78-year-old actor shares two daughters with his longtime wife Catherine Rusoff, who he's been married to since 1986, Claire, 28, and Sophia, 26.

Claire is rarely seen with her father, but she did attend the launch of Hulu on Disney Plus with Ed in early April.

The last time they were seen together in public before that, though, was back in 2016 when they attended the launch of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood.

This time she came to support her father's highly-anticipated series about the fall of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, debuting June 4.

He wore a brown newsboy cap with thin black-framed glasses for his red carpet appearance on Monday evening, with the event held at Regal LA Live in downtown Los Angeles.

The Modern Family star completed his look with black pants and black dress shoes as he hit the red carpet.

His daughter Claire opted for a strapless black gown with a large slit up the right leg for the event.

She accessorized with a thin necklace and strand earrings along with gold bracelets and a black clutch.

Her father plays one of the most controversial figures in sports - former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling - in the new series Clipped, seen posing on the red carpet with his on-screen wife Jacki Weaver (Shelly Sterling).

The series is created by Gina Welch and based on the ESPN 30 for 30 podcast The Sterling Affairs, which chronicled his downfall after recordings of him making racist comments were made public in 2014.

Stiviano said through her lawyer that she sent snippets of conversations she recorded on her phone to a friend, who then leaked them publicly without her permission.

Sterling was subsequently banned from the NBA for life, with his team ultimately sold for $2 billion to former Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer.
